RS Wild Guide

The Jadex poll for the old rs wild to return just passed with 91% in favor. This is the bomb news! It means that you will once again be able to use the rs wild to kill your share of players and players will kill their fair share of you like the good old days of the rs wild. All is right in the rs wild.

This is a rs wild guide for everyone like me who want to know what to do with this amazing rs wild power. I was a noob at the time of the old wild so I don't remember much but walking into it with my brand new mithril armor and loosing it all because I attacked a player that knew what he was doing.


I didn't know it at the time but he used a technique to get me to attack him even though he was the higher level. I was a stupid noob and he was a less stupid noob. He made fun of me, said he could beat me with no armor or weapon. I attacked him. That was my first and only mistake. After that I never went into the rs wild again. I'm glad I now get a chance to redeem myself and help you while I'm at it.
 
I have decided to write a rs wild guide to make sure that what happened to me doesn't happen to you. To show you that the rs wild is your friend, not the enemy. You just have to use it the right way. Unlike me. :) I've read guides and watched videos and come up with this rs wild guide to prevent what happened to me.


The first technique for the rs wild that I've found works great. Don't be the first to attack, it could coast you. Being skulled and dieing means that you loose all of your items when you die. All of them(not the three valuables either). You will almost never make it back to your gravestone. So this first guide rule is pretty easy, let the enemy make the first move.

The secound rule to the rs wild is to not take gp in the wild with you. If you die you will only keep three coins. If you take one valuable item then you risk nothing. When your about to die turn on protect item prayer. This allows you to have a high reward and not risk a thing.

The third rule to the rs wild is to know the area your in. Take a long look at the map before you go anywhere. If you get caught in a match and don't know where to run then your gone. Ladders, pits, and doors are the best place to run. You just go up and down them when someone tries to attack you and you don't stand a chance.

Follow these three rules and your life with the rs wild will be great. Don't make the same mistake I did. Have fun with the new rs wild!

The Old Wilderness and Free Trade of Runescape

Runescape is finally bringing back the old wilderness(wild) and free trade. This means that you will be able to trade anything to anyone on Runescape. It is great news! All of my friends are starting to play again. I can't wait until it starts.
This also means that the Grand Exchange prices are most likely to drop
a little. Not a whole lot, there will still be pleanty of people who use the Grand Exchange to buy and sell things. It's hard to know what will happen because there was no Grand Exchange when there was free trade before.
Jadex is removing PVP worlds, Bounty worlds, and Bounty Hunter Minigame. The wilderness will be on every world. You just cross the ditch and your official in danger.

The wilderness and free trade will help you make money believe it or not. There are several ways you can now make money that you could not do before with the wilderness and free trade.
If you have a item that is not available to buy anywhere fast and is hard to get but well wanted, such as a dragon dagger(p++) You can now sell it to another player for a ridiculously huge amount of money.
Merchanting on the Grand Exchange for money is still there but free trade will now be the biggest and best way to make money on Runescape. (Next to the wilderness.) Make sure you stock up on hard to get items, they will help you earn cash like crazy.
Another great thing to take advantage of is the wilderness. The entire wilderness is now going to be like a giant game of bounty hunter. The wilderness will become very dangerous and you always need to take a teleportation method with you whenever you enter it.
Now, the way to make money in the wilderness is simple. You only take three valuable things with you. Wether your mems or not, make sure you log into a non-mems world. Take rune platebody, rune platelegs, and a rune 2h sword.(if you have protect item prayer than take a rune scimmy and a kite shield instead of 2h sword) A full inventory of tuna and a teleportation tab to Varrock are very helpful.
Here is the tricky part, getting someone who is an even match to your level to attack you in the wilderness. They will be extremely reluctant to do this. Most of the time they will run, if they do this than chase them but do not attack them! If you attack them then you will be sculled(you loose all of your stuff when you die.)
When they start to walk because they ran out of run then follow them and start to brag. Brag like crazy, make them as mad as you can. Tell them that they are as nooby and you could school them with no armor on at all. If they don't attack you after that then you can probably assume that they are safe to attack and just attack them yourself. Remember that you have the food and they don't. This gives you a huge advantage.
At the first sign of trouble make sure to run or teleport out of the wilderness. If your food runs out, your prayer runs out. Remember, anything that harms you will help them.
This new way of making money is very dangerous, but well worth it. If you loose anything valuable remember that this is a game and just have fun playing it. :)

Runescape Members Money Money Making

There are millions of ways to make money on Runescape. You can mine minerals, collect swamp tar, battle monsters, merchant on the Grand Exchange, even go on quests! There really isn't one way that is the best. You have to work hard no matter what you do, but there are ways that have advantages. If you kill monsters, you gain melee levels. If you mine, you level in mining, the same is true with just about everything. Whatever you find most useful and fun is the way you want to make money.
My Favorite way to make money is to kill green dragons in the wilderness. Some people just dismiss this way because they say that the cannons steal all of the dragons. That is not true, the cannons make it easier. The other excuse it that your level is to low and you spend to much on food. I want to make it clear that the cannons will fix that problem. I have seen level 40's take out dragons and make plenty of money off it. This is an awesome way to make money!

The First thing you do is buy some food, this changes depending on your level, a level 70 should take about 10-12 sharks. (you really only need about 8, but with the Revents its nice to be safe.) Make sure you have your best armor on and head into the wilderness. The green dragons are to the south-west-west of the Dark Warriors' Fortress.
Now make sure that there is only one cannon in the nest(if there is two it is harder). Then go and wait right next to where a dragon will appear. When it appears attack it as fast as you can(or else the cannon will steal it). When you have drained it's hit points just a bit over half way, run from the nest and wait. The cannon should fire and kill it pretty fast.
Go and grab your dragon bones and green d-hide. The bones are currently worth 4k each and the d-hides are 1k each. Don't bury the bones! They are worth 4k out of the 5k that you make off each dragon.
If you want prayer experience with the bones then join the clan "w31houses" and they will tell you where to find a gilded altar, the gilded altar gives 3 times as much experience as just burying the bones.

If a Revent attacks while you are attacking dragons, you have 2 options. If you are almost done with your load then you should probably just teleport away and sell the incomplete load. If your just starting then run to the Dark Warriors' Fortress and climb up one of the ladders, wait a while, then go back down and start killing dragons for money again.
